What type of lights were used in the ceiling?
Hello! These light fixtures are referred to as "can" or "pot" lighting. They all have individual housings, and are nicest (as you see here) when used with GU10 Halogen bulbs for a less harsh light.
What are the light sizes in the ceiling? 4in 3in, GU10 bulbs LED etc. I'm looking to do the same type of thing with 8' celings. Thank you
What size of pot lights did you use and what wattage? They look great!

plan to use recessed lighting in your low ceilings, think of the cone of light that spreads from a recessed light. The closer it is to the floor, the closer you'll need to space the lights to get good coverage. Good lighting design makes a big difference, so hire a professional lighting designer. A variety

Your work is wonderful throughtout this home. Could you tell me if the lighting above the crown molding of the cabinets is coming only from the ceiling lights reflecting down or also from a light source hidden in the crown molding. It looks as there's not only light coming down
down but also light reflecting up. Thank you
I already have the lighting, very close to the picture; and a stone fireplace. Bookcases with different depths would be a great add. Thinking

example of the cove lighting that we will have in the dining area, although it will be much smaller and not have any can lights in it. I will extend one hanging fixture over the dining table. The cove area will be tiled with metallic tile.

Michael, I love your work. In front of this television, it looks like you used smaller recess lights than the other ones in the room. Yet, on the Seeley media room project, it looks like the recess lights in front of the tv are the same size as
as all others. So, when/how do you determine what size recess lights should be used in front of a tv? Also. What is a good roe of thumb for spacing recess lights In basement? Thanks in advance!
How much room did you leave for lighting between upper and lower portions of the ceiling? What type of the lighting do you use? fluorescent tubes or other types?
Typically use 4" recessed lights when accenting an area. 6" recessed fixtures provide more general lighting. I keep the lights 2'-0" + off the wall. Hope that helps.

Does the LED strip light come with a big transformer? If so, how would you hide it in the soffit? Thanks.
What is the height of the cavity where the lights are?
LED was not used for this. However if you use LED tape lights the transformer is small. I have use Contech Lighting on a recent project.
This has the reflected/recessed lighting around the soffits
