Sun Room. Exteiror Sunroom -Photographer: Rob Karosis
Is there a roof with deck rails or a usable deck area above the sunroom? From a construction standpoint, could a sunroom (flat-roofed) like this be built abutting two house walls?
I love this sunroom! Could you please tell me what material were used on the exterior?
What materials were used to create the recessed panel and crown moulding details on the exterior of this beautiful sunroom?
buying a single-story house with a low-pitched roof that we love but that could use a sunroom, close to Newark DE (not too far from Millbrook!). One problem is that because of the layout, the only natural place for a sunroom is at right angles to the central roofline, in one corner of the house. It is very

Gorgeous 3 season porch!! Could you please tell us about the windows?
This is considered a 3-Season porch. While it is obviously not well insulated, it is separated from the rest of the house via exterior grade french doors. The floor is radiant to

trying to find a solution for windows in three season porch
glass (single glaze is less expensive and lighter) you can use 1/4" plex if you want lighter frames. You can then change out the screens for the glass as seasons demand. High windows would be glass to begin with under this replace by season.
would be good for a sunroom behind a garage

using the product Weatherwall. They are screened frames that are built with 4 sections of a soft clear pliable material that go up or down . This eliminates the problem of rain and wind in your space and allows for a three season room but with the look of a large screen porch.
Why not convert a porch like this into a 3 1/2 season screen porch?
like to use it because of bugs or weather issues? Consider enclosing it or screening it in. This is also a great way to make your porch more of a four-season feature in your front yard. I grew up in an area of the South that was rife with mosquitoes in the summer, and our screened-in porch was a much-visited
