Inspiration for a mid-sized country 3/4 mosaic tile floor tub/shower combo remodel in Atlanta with recessed-panel cabinets, distressed cabinets, a two-piece toilet, gray walls and marble countertops

What was once a dark, unwelcoming alcove is now a bright, luxurious haven. The over-sized soaker fills this extra large space and is complimented with 3 x 12 subway tiles. The contrasting grout color speaks to the black fixtures and accents throughout the room. We love the custom-sized niches that perfectly hold the client's "jellies and jams."

It’s always a blessing when your clients become friends - and that’s exactly what blossomed out of this two-phase remodel (along with three transformed spaces!). These clients were such a joy to work with and made what, at times, was a challenging job feel seamless. This project consisted of two phases, the first being a reconfiguration and update of their master bathroom, guest bathroom, and hallway closets, and the second a kitchen remodel. In keeping with the style of the home, we decided to run with what we called “traditional with farmhouse charm” – warm wood tones, cement tile, traditional patterns, and you can’t forget the pops of color! The master bathroom airs on the masculine side with a mostly black, white, and wood color palette, while the powder room is very feminine with pastel colors. When the bathroom projects were wrapped, it didn’t take long before we moved on to the kitchen. The kitchen already had a nice flow, so we didn’t need to move any plumbing or appliances. Instead, we just gave it the facelift it deserved! We wanted to continue the farmhouse charm and landed on a gorgeous terracotta and ceramic hand-painted tile for the backsplash, concrete look-alike quartz countertops, and two-toned cabinets while keeping the existing hardwood floors. We also removed some upper cabinets that blocked the view from the kitchen into the dining and living room area, resulting in a coveted open concept floor plan. Our clients have always loved to entertain, but now with the remodel complete, they are hosting more than ever, enjoying every second they have in their home. --- Project designed by interior design studio Kimberlee Marie Interiors. Lewisville, TX - Our clients requested a downstairs master suite that included: reusing the 1910 original tub, walk in multiple head shower, private toilet area, double vanities, and a second closet for her. By using gray, crisp white and spa blue we transformed this space to include everything on their wish list. The tub was refinished and enclosed along with the new rain shower in a separate "wet area" using a glass barn style door at the entrance to eliminate the door swing. The double vanity has lots of storage with a mirror to the ceiling and wall sconces to give a bright airy feel to the space. The additional closet for her (his closet is in the master bedroom) uses a pocket door to maximize the bathroom space. The upper guest suite features a more masculine, muted color scheme while still feeling fresh. With a full attached bathroom, the upper guest bedroom provides another flexible space perfect for a more secluded bedroom. Bold painted cabinetry stands out against more simple white quartz countertops, beveled subway tile backsplash, and mosaic flooring. A tub/shower with a bench uses contrasting tile to create a dramatic effect.

This farmhouse designed by our Virginia interior design studio showcases custom, traditional style with modern accents. The laundry room was given an interesting interplay of patterns and texture with a grey mosaic tile backsplash and printed tiled flooring. The dark cabinetry provides adequate storage and style. All the bathrooms are bathed in light palettes with hints of coastal color, while the mudroom features a grey and wood palette with practical built-in cabinets and cubbies.
