Can you advise on the dimensions of this room?
I also love the chairs - what a lovely & comfortable idea!
Sue, I wish we could answer but we are the architects and did not style the room.
It's roughly 10x13. You can see the entire floorplan for this home with room dimension here: http://houseplans.southernliving.com/. Just go

Behind those oil-rubbed-steel doors, a combined living room, dining room and kitchen is topped by a loft hangout for the kids. “We wanted there to be a relaxed feel that was both masculine and feminine,” says interior designer Patrick Printy. What are the dimensions of this room. Side walls too?
LOVE everything about this room! Are the walls 9'?
I love this linear design and would like to see how the bedrooms and other rooms connect to it.
Where are the smaller pendant lights from and how are they attached? Do you have any other photos of them? We have a similar room with the large trusses and we are trying to figure out how to install lighting that will not distract from the beautiful beams. Thank you!

The original living room is now the family dining room; it offers access to every other room in the home. The darker wood peeping through the ceiling joists was also salvaged from Kelley's grandmother's home — an addition that saved on material costs and added a historical, personal element. Strips

Hello-- What a beautiful room! Just wondering what paint co,ors were used for the ceiling and walls. Thanks!
Beautiful room! Where is the cabinet from? Is it a fab antique find?
love everything about this dining room
So much in such a small room - looks fabulous!
Like the idea of mixing a bench with matching end chairs and third option for other side chairs.
The formal dining room is open to the foyer and connected to the kitchen. Natural wicker chairs, a beige jute rug and a linen-covered bench offer a warm invitation. Against the wall, antique china hangs over extra dining room chairs flanking a hutch that Kim repainted to achieve a layered, weathered

I love the muted colors in this room and the way the base looks with the stained wood top. Would love to know the color of the bases.
Love this room! I would like to know the paint color for the walls
Love the room- what color is the walls and where did you get the chairs? thanks!
plenty of elbow room. You can have 5 tables side by side with 5 chairs. Use one or two of the tables and chairs in another spot when not pushed together. This is banquet length so you may want to have a cardboard mockup done first to see if you are comfortable with it in the room. If not, you may

Love bookshelf idea!! Use walk as back
the idea of dinning among the books . Fantastic !!!
study room - books and nice roomy table to spread out on
it's a library-dining room - best multi-purpose for
wall-to-wall bookshelves. Also consider horiz length of shelves between verticals, for dining room. Note moldings too. ALSO, lights above the bays of the bookcase - they're like painting-illuminating lights. Good idea.
Like the idea of eating in the library and also of having a large table in the library to really spread out on. Pair this with a FP and Wing chairs at the end of the room - perfect library space

shaker furniture, clean uncluttered dining room, off tilted pendant, art, colorful wall/ceiling moulding.
fairly easy way to give your rooms a new look. Painting just the trim is a fussy process, but even with all of that taping, it probably wouldn’t take as long as painting the walls — and it certainly wouldn’t require as much paint.
How about the acid-yellow trim in this room, with the otherwise economic
brings the warmth of sunshine in, doesn’t it? And it makes the spare interior inviting. It’s all the more interesting because the trim in the next room is painted a different color. Picasso would have liked this.
