The upper and lower rows of hooks are handy. I envision our lower row a lot higher on the wall as certain furbeasts like to go "shopping" in low hanging bags.

If I ever do a house from scratch... I'll think about how to use raw inexpensive materials to achieve low $/sqft. Plywood doesn't require drywall texturing. Drywall is cheap compared to ply, but texturing it, beading corners and beading floors aren't.
