chance to grow fruits like golden berries and pepinos,” Hausler says. “It’s amazing how much food can be grown in a 20-meter [215-foot] square. It can get pretty windy out here on the hill at times, so having the protection from that, as well as a more humid environment, has meant we can grow so many more
I would love a smaller version of this on the side of the house for Brad to garden all year long and grow basil and tomatoes.

spheres are made by my business partner Keith, you can see them at hkeithwagner.com. The trees are Honeylocust - our very favorite terrace tree for it's light dappled shade and small leaves that don't require raking in the fall.
that provide airy shade, so they are a good choice if you want shade but not too much. The species has fierce thorns and grows well over 80 feet tall, but cultivars are thornless and grow to about 40 feet. They need full sun and are hardy in zones 3 (-40°F) to 7 (0°F).

tropical setting! You would need to have a roof with a steep enough pitch to drain the water quickly and a deep, but light growing medium to support the plants with enough moisture, but light enough that your structure can support it. A deep green roof covered in vegetation would provide fantastic insulation
Inspiring! Shows that a family can be comfortable in a small home - though not feasible for the long haul as kids grow.
Like the easy deck with tree growing through. Would take this out to the maple tree and clear across front out house.
love tree growing through deck. Possibility?
Shot straight on without a flash, this photo feels warm and inviting. The time for this natural light is usually about 20 minutes after the sun sets. The light level needs to be just right — from the inside light to the last bits of daylight — to get this glowing-lantern feeling.
