what is the size of this kitchen wall to wall?
I too am thinking of using a Domsjo sink from Ikea - I thought they had to go right back to the wall, but it looks like you were able to put the backsplash in behind it? Did you install the countertop and backsplash first, then slide the sink in?
The sink is back to the wall! The counter crew cut the edges of the backsplash to fit around the sink and black caulk with black honed granite really does the trick.
5" fixtures on the site you used for the central lighting, but maybe recessed are necessary - three 4" fixtures on each side, 3' feet out from the wall and centered front to back. There are only two of us, so we really don't need a large fridge and maybe we could gain counter space with a smaller one
