We are renovating a vintage black and white tiled bath.

We are renovating our bathroom and this layout might work . Ours is similar but our counter is under the sink along the back wall. I wonder if we can move the counter like
but we want to gut the rest of the bathroom including wall and floor tiles. Is this possible? Our contractor said that the tub will most likely get chipped or damaged in the process. Thanks in advance!
Why did you take out the tub? Are you gutting the entire bathroom? Is the tub surface worn and stained? Why do you want the same style tub? It looks great in the photo -- in fact, I love that classic B&W tile bathroom! -- the whole thing looks charming in the photo. So if the only problem is that

I would always recommend sheetrock, drywall, or greenboard (especially for bathrooms) just to button everything up. I'm not a pro but have worked on many projects and we're getting ready to put wide plank panels in our bathroom. Good luck!
The open area in the bathroom is about 9'-9" by 11'-6" and the closet is about 8' by 13'.

mirrors over the sinks as well as the manufacturer and color of the countertop? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as this is such a beautiful bathroom and I would love to duplicate some of it (albeit my bath is MUCH smaller than this one!) Thanks!!!
The Master bathroom dimensions are 15' X 20' The 15' dimension is running parallel to the back wall with the window. I hope this helps.

Is there any special treatment required for using floorboards in bathrooms to stop them from rotting?

floor tiles are ceramic and they're unglazed so they're a bit matte and creamier than white. The grout color is bone from Custom Building Products (Home Depot).
perhaps to be used for remodeling the existing bathroom.
