Those spheres, and buildings, sculpture on a human scale. I just really like it.
In this "American Gothic"–esque landscape, the appropriate use of spheres adds dimension. Notice how the more prominent spheres in the center courtyard engage

How do you frame in the posts for the railing above? Is the framing continuous from the wall below?
Thanks! I'm planning a roof deck over a much smaller sun room, that will be accessible and am uncertain how to frame them.
proper. Question: How did you resolve roof venting for the flat roof given the deck above? It appears that the interior is living space. I don't see any soffit vents. I assume it was spray foam insulated? I am in Toronto, similar climate to NY and looking to do the same idea.
