I don't have a question but wanted to let you know how much I love the idea- great way to save space! Thanks for the inspiration!
What a great idea and so beautifuk
I love this look. Decorating young boys small bedroom. Feel strongly about a mattress on boxspring. Any ideas about platform beds for two growing boys, soon to be teenagers. Like high beds for long legs.

Two platform beds pushed together. great space saver
use of space is great, and the bed placement so much fun for kids!
One bedroom is meant for the kids, and it’s outfitted with twin beds as well as these mattresses placed atop a storage platform. “The idea is that later, when the kids are grown, it could be used as a window seat,” says Gaddis. Until that day you can imagine the cousins whiling away the

Kitchen updated with open shelving and free-standing furniture. photo by Alec Hemer.
Wow! Who on earth would put such a heavy and cumbersome kitchen appliance in such an unlikely place? Maybe putting a mixer high on the top shelf was just for the photo shot.
Hi Tim-- Great job. What colour is the kitchen wall (frying pans) and above counter top?
The stainless cart was assembled by a metal fabricator using commercial kitchen parts.
I admire the setting up in a smaller space
Love the ladder idea for dishes! Adds so much character to the space.

River Road Cottage
My husband and I are remodeling my attic into a Master Bedroom suite and this would be a perfect solution and look for our space. With detailed instructions I believe I could make this myself. I am also using the all-white theme.
These beds were custom designed for the space which they occupy. All the details would change relative to the room you would build them in. You must first decide the mattress sizes and then work
I just love what you can do with space.
getting more space in a second room
Neat idea....I would have loved the little hidden bed area
Sullivan Building & Design Group made the most of this space with an interior renovation that made a bedroom with built-in beds and book nooks. An all-white palette keeps things from looking cluttered.

How can I save this picture to m y file?
I like small and efficient spaces. This is a very nice design. I would like to know where to find smaller sized refrigerator/freezers.
What does the wood stove sit on? Doing similar install in small space
great, I have one, it has less width & more height than other fridges so u can put it in a tight space & u can reverse doors...
I do not know for sure as I was not involved in the design of this space, but it looks like soapstone. Soapstone is extremely heat resistant and stain resistant, so it is
I love the small, yet open floor plan - makes the space seem bigger. I'm more interested in outside spaces rather than inside spaces.
This could go against the main basement wall.- lots of space (not cramped. Book shelves go opposite behind the camera.

Ideas for spice cabinets on wall
I plan to use some extra space over my counter for a spice rack cabinet. Any clever ideas. Don't have pics yet .

seating. When looking to take up less room in a space, try a bench instead of chairs on all or one side of your table. Make sure you can push the bench under the table so you can stash it away when not in use.

Add some organic patterned throw pillows for a more comfortable seat and freshen the space with some unfussy green flower arrangements in terra-cotta pots.
Line up a few tables for two. If you have more space, consider lining up smaller tables restaurant-style instead of having one big table.

Is there anyway to figure out about how wide this kitchen is? I have one room 16.2 ft x 26ft that I need to fit my kitchen, dining and living area into. With a 16.2 ft width....is it possible to fit an L-Shaped kitchen with working island in middle (3ft deep) x 6ft long and dining room table on the
