distorted a bit by the camera lens to look wider than it actually is. The table was purchased at Twin Fires Barn in MA- I'm not sure what species it is- cherry? pine stained dark?
If you are building a custom table, I don't see why you couldn't design it with a lot of leaves or expansion-capability
