If your property is set far back from the street, provide a cheerful welcome home each evening by installing lanterns on posts. A standing-seam metal roof lends a modern rustic look well suited to farmhouse style.Tell us: Are you renovating a farmhouse? Or do you just love farmhouse

Love the lantern on the post.
We are doing a light post like this. What is the brand name of the lantern?
The lantern on the post was from Heritage Metalworks out of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Looks to be either the "Radley (LTCP103)" or "Avondale (LTCP104)". Here is their Houzz
Post lantern. And everything else.
Picket fence, walkway, lantern on a post.
Picket fence, lame post with battery
we could keep our fence posts high so i can do this
7. Lantern post. Reminiscent of old inns, a hanging lantern on a post is as charming as can be. If you don’t want to bother with having it wired, just use a battery-operated outdoor-rated candle inside.

deep. Any more than that and the rooms tend to be too dark. Think of the porch as a kind of 'visor' over the windows; a bigger 'visor' screens more light. Also, when designing the depth, consider the position of the sun, furniture placement and circulation. Hope that helps. Eric
