What product is recommended to finish maple butcher block counters?
I will be re-using maple butcher block countertops in a kitchen renovation....they have been sanded to natural state. In past I used mineral oil, however wondering if any other products offer safer, more efficient
! I'm concerned though about how practical it is to have a hard wood floor in the kitchen. Doesn't it get damaged from spills of food or cleaning products for ex? Also doesn't the butcher block get damaged from regular exposure to water around the sink? Thanks a lot!
