high. The furniture is dark (brownish). The pictures on my wall are bright, reds, yellows, greens, etc.... What would be a good color to paint my room? Should I used darker color inside of the curved walls? Will a mint green work with a darker green? Help....
Thank you for your input. That's exactly what I will do. The above picture is similar to my room, except the walls are curved.
Without seeing any photos of your room, I would treat the curved walls as an accent wall. Painting them a different shade of green will be a neat idea. http://www.houzz
An adorable corner of a room..love the soft green
A sitting area in Elisabeth's craft and sewing room offers a place to relax. The dresser was purchased at an auction and painted mint green. The ticking wallpaper, beadboard ceiling and firkin boxes all pay tribute to the home's roots.

Hi Mandie...florals aren't strictly feminine, after all, flower gardens are seldom labeled as "too girly". Try balancing the florals and soft colors in the room with other natural elements to give a more neutral

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It looks like a light baby blue. Do you know if it is in the baby blue family? or if it has a touch of gray? That is clever using the same color with different finishes.
It is a pale blue, but I don't know if I'd say 'baby blue' - perhaps sky blue with a hint of turquoise.... I think taking it toward grey would be very nice.
with a little Hollywood glamour in your life, mirrors like these might deliver just what you need. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of bling in any room of the house and, in this case, it takes nothing away from the bathroom’s country roots.

I like the wallpaper in this room. Very pretty.
This dining room is at once cozy yet a bit austere. The wainscoting, cheerful wallpaper, drapes and chandelier bring in warmth without also bringing in the clutter.
