The mulch is a fine screen dark decomposed bark mulch. The plantings are Blue star creeper in the front of the photo and red mother of thyme, thymus serphyllum on the mound.

I'm a farm house, front porch full of plants type of girl.
Mimi's porch garden is a cornucopia of climbing vines, flowering shrubs, potted plants and hanging baskets. MK: I absolutely love flowers. I told my kids that if there is any inheritance money, forget about it. I'm spending every last dime on flowers.
