What color is the stain used for the red oak floors? They look richer than just a natural finish. Thank you!
are select grade, 2 1/4", red oak floors finished with only an oil based sealer and two coats of poly. The richer patina comes from time. These floors are about 6 years old.

I love this house. Is this floor plan available to view?
Is the flooring wooden tiles? Where did you get these made?
How was the floor finished and what color stains were used? Thanks!
love the floors what exactly is it?
I believe that this is hardwood planks which have been stained to look like tiles. By taping off areas and staining them darker than the field of the floor you can create this look. Cover it all with poly when you are done. Treat it like any other floor. An incredible foyer/stairhall.
Could you tell me what kind of flooring this is? Thanks!
Reclaimed Pine flooring in mixed width. I can even see some of the original circle sawn marks. The floor looks great!

Antique Barnboard Oak Flooring
Our antique barnboard oak flooring in random 5.5" - 8.5" widths. This particular reclaimed oak floor has our unique "worn edge" profile. Aging patina, stress cracks and some original saw marks combined with nail holes and solid knots give this grade of flooring a very unique character that is impossible
impossible to match with new flooring.

Where can I find this flooring and is this sandstone? What type? Costs? Thank you
The flooring is an antique effect limestone. We didn't arrange any of the flooring on this particular project, but we have used a similar product which comes out at roughly £90 per square meter (inc. fitting). Hope that helps.

Beware red can suck up ligt
Like the red w/ the wood
The color red is said to be an appetite stimulant, which is why most fine dining establishments are painted shades of red rather than, say, green or blue. Red can be tricky to work with, though, because it tends to suck all the light from a room. Instead of painting your walls red, try using red in smaller
chance. For the longest time, I was convinced that I did not like red in interiors. I must have seen a few really hideous or overdone examples of red that put me off it completely. But now I really appreciate it. For instance, the clear tomato red of these cabinets brightens up the rustic wood in this open-plan

Red, Nadia's favorite color, comes up in a sitting area near the entry.Nadia says it felt like home "when the pomegranate painting was hung. It is 12 feet wide, so finding a wall without windows was always a challenge — not here."Sofa: Ikea; oil painting: "Charles St.," by John Young; paint: Snowfall
