very nice! It's hard for the lay person to see potential in homes. I always enjoy good before and after photos :)
Nice layout. I really like that the designer though out the consequence of what the soil would do to fence if it would touch it. By providing a space and a board the dirt / compost will have a less likely chance to encourage rot there. If it has been done, or not a liner could be attached to the

When building a prefab studio proved to be too much on his San Francisco yard's steep site, this clever designer went with a greenhouse kit instead. The small structure, set on a custom deck, suits his needs and takes full advantage of the California

using a proven design. Vendrolini prepared the site with a 16-foot by 24-foot deck, bolting the greenhouse directly to the deck. A line for lighting existed from a previous landscape project. Vendrolini brought an additional line and an Internet connection to the greenhouse. Design note: A level foundation
Lights, greenery, windows, and new cedar colored wood. Could do this by the tree w/ the rocks around it, by the garage. Build up the yard, steps down to the parking area?

Tiny office space in the back yard
I like how the front entry is level with the paving so it is a straight walk out to the yard. Having steps takes up more surface area that you might need for the other elements under consideration.

installing clerestory windows in unexpected locations for maximum natural daylight. For example, the clerestory windows on this garden shed by BMF Construction reduce the shed's reliance on electric light.
If you want to reduce heat, do the reverse: Install clerestory windows on the north side of your home, which will allow natural light in during the cooler part of the day. You can also install them wherever tree shade will filter direct sunlight. Consider

The front entry to this home is so beautiful with a dramatic front door. Did you see the entire tour of this home? There are photos of the entry, I will attach the link. To the left of the garage door is a walkway that leads to a courtyard and that is where you enter the home. Check it out: http://www
Erin has an eye for style. I took the photos, however I suggest you get in touch with Kras Design Studio (805) 967-1982 to get an architects point of view to your question. His company is the one who designed this. Have you posted a photo of your house and asked for feedback from the architects on Houzz

This is exactly the design I am looking for ... does this come in a kit form and if so, how much and where can
Very nice design. How is the roof section attached? The center beam seems to just rest on "peg" that comes up from the main structure (which gives the slope). From the picture
Hi Mari-- This was custom designed and built, incorporating the city's carport codes. Thx.
