already built, so I was just going to drill rebar into the driveway and pore casted cement as a the pillar footers, only about 1 foot high. I'm nervous that
bolting down through 4" of concrete, pretty sure you would end up with cracks throughout the drive way. I have solid concrete post behind the brick with
the footing and then have the posts bolted via a simpson hanger to the concrete post and the post bolted to the bracket.
Simple, 22'x24'. recommends footing for posts - bolting beams to existing concrete slab will result in cracks
