The project is characterized by sustainable cedar siding and recycled metal roofing; the walls and roof have 40% higher insulation values than typical construction
We are interested in building a garage/guest house that would compliment our current home and setting. A design such as this is perfect. Please let me know. Thank you. Your work is beautiful and is just what we are looking for.
windows are facing south to let in sunlight (with a northern roof pitch) or if the roof is facing south so that it melts the snow off? We are trying to design a cabin with a view that is primarily to the south so we would like to do this style of structure but aren't sure a north facing roof is good for heavy

Do you have any pictures of the interior?
Interested in seeing interior, and can you provide architecture drawings?
I'm afraid not. We typically always have interior shots but didn't on this particular project for reasons I cannot recall. And plans are the intellectual property of the architect, we wouldn't be able to share freely even if we had. Sorry. If you're within the DC Metro or Central VA, we could discuss
I apologize it took a few days to answer, the project manager was traveling. The garage is approximately 34' x 27' and 920 square feet, purely custom.
We're big fans of Englert, their service and product is top shelf. We've used on multiple projects. Think of them as the Mercedes of roof manufacturers

What does the inside of this garage look like? I like the design of the outside.
Hi, Thanks for your question about the siding stain on our Mazama Guesthouse project. The siding is red cedar, and it was stained with Cabot's semi-transparent stain. Since this project was completed, we have mostly used Sikkens Cetol, but we have also used a Canadian product called Sansin....http://www
Thanks so much for your question about our Mazama cabin. Unfortunately, we did not shoot interior photos. Sorry about that! --Nils Finne, AIA

muted and changeable seaside hues. This beach-side retreat offers ever-changing views from windows, terraces, decks, and pathways. Tucked into the design are unexpected touches such as a hideaway wine room and a nautically-inspired crow’s nest.
Like this design - beautifully detailed. Can you tell me about the garage doors please?

I unfortunately have no interior shots for this project, and as far as the cost goes you would have to get it priced out by a local contractor to get an accurate estimate.
I love the design! What would the average cost of a project such as this cost?
Thank you for your interest, however the plans for this garage were designed custom, and were purchased by the client. We cannot give away these plans. If you would like to discuss a future project using our architectural services, please contact us. (845) 677-8256 crisp@crisparchitects
