The walls are plywood cut into about 18" high by 8 long boards and the edges were routed so that it overlapped like panelling and we left a space between board edges of 3/16" to reinforce the horizontal lines in the room. Plywood was 1/2" thick. Vertical joints were staggered in a brick pattern
Great space for a small gym or yoga room
It would be great to hang rings, swings, monkey bars? Space for small trampoline, ballet
Game room/mud room for little kids
The clients wanted their kids to be able to use their imagination in the space. Now they can read books in the hammocks, hang from the monkey bars, climb the ropes or run around freely. The room can easily be converted from a gym to a party room, hosting a small dinner party or a family movie night.

Reminds me would like to hang up kids art
I could so do this for Cassie's kids and keep them out of the house!
Getting craftyThis garage space was artfully converted into a kids’ playroom. The desk offers plenty of space to create and colour-in, and the creative results can then be easily and immediately displayed on the wall above
If you like to be surrounded by bustling activity: Do you work best in cafes and other busy spaces? Then consider designing a workspace you can share with your kids or housemates, or set up shop in the kitchen where the action of everyday life can flow around you. What is the dimensions of the building? I would like to build something similar and I am curious how much space I may need.
This converted garage space is truly amazing. I simply adore the mix of traditional and modern architectural elements. Amazing work!
The space is approximately 21' x 24'. We would have liked to have a little more space maybe 28' x 24' but
wood grain to come through without overwhelming space like the old panelling of the 5o's basements.

Garage turned living space; great idea if the space is not used for storage or parking cars!
Probably not enough space, but pretty fantastic looking
all times. It’s is up to your personal habits how easy or realistic that is, but with a house full of kids and pets and life’s clutter, it can be an unreasonable expectation. A separate studio space means you’ll be responsible for controlling the mess. One person’s professional clutter (in theory) is
Because the studio no longer functions as a space for cars, the driveway also has a new life as a patio. Concrete planters allow Dana’s green thumb more gardening opportunities while separating the grilling zone from the studio space. There's no telling what great work will manifest from this artist/guest

A way to have outdoor space while working at home
Not your typical garden shed! This design serves as a small outdoor office space.
office has skylights in the roof, flooding it with natural light and saving wall space for that all important storage.
Max the indoor-outdoor vibeThis rustic room in a London back garden is the perfect getaway. There’s space in which to relax, work or read, and doors allow one wall to be completely open
it could equally be used as a playroom, teenagers’ den, craft space or even a utility room.
