This reclaimed 100 yr old 2000SF heavy timber barn was given a new life as a guest house for the client’s many children and grandchildren. Reassembled among the oaks on a ranch in Santa Ynez, it was clad with translucent glass panels which express the structure at night and flood the interior space with free soft light during the day.
