Are those called pavers on the sidewalk? What pattern was used for laying the sidewalk? Thank You.
Those are 4x6" pavers that came from Lowe's. Because the patio and walkway had a few turns, we used a herringbone pattern, which is uni-directional. The pavers were installed with thinset over a poured concrete substrate.

If you can devote the time to it (or are able to hire a gardener), you can train your vines to grow on a patterned support.
