The concrete surrounding the garage that forms a sort of "exterior chair rail" (for lack of a better term that I do not know), how is this made/installed? I've seen this kind of setup before where it looks polished and has a series of holes in it. I'd love to learn more
The concrete wall in the this picture was formed by the general contractor in place, with concrete forms. The holes you see are snap ties carefully laid out in a pattern described in our drawings, as are
are the expansion joints that make up the panels. The snap ties hold the panels together when the concrete is poured into the forms. Hope this helps ! Dan

You have to admit, this is way more exciting than an ordinary concrete driveway. The design transforms what would otherwise be a utilitarian driveway into a delightful

Porcelain floor and shower wall tile have metallic shimmery feel. Ikea cabinets in stainless house hot water tank under the sink.
Love the shower and floor tiles. Would you please share the manufacturer and style name of the tiles? Thanks
What kind of trim do you have on the edges of the wall tile?
I realise your comment is dated, but the tile is very much like Marazzi Storm (there are 3 colours in the range). It comes in a 450mm x 900mm which looks similar to the size in the image.
Depending on the type of stone, ceramic or porcelain tile product chosen, I often use a stainless or chrome
appropriate. With porcelain or ceramics, you can also paint an edge to match, if it doesn't have small tile edging pieces. Let me know if I may assist further with your project. Anne Boa
