stabilizer like Sta-Bil in the tank to protect the fuel over the winter. Turn off the water supply to exterior hose bibs and open the spigot outside in case there is water left in the pipe. Detach hoses from the spigot, then coil and store them in the shed.
Can you connect it to a hose or a water line? I have always wanted something for washing my hands outdoors besides just the hose running all over the place.
find an item number. you can connect a hose to the spigot. nice for gardening.
Hi @Leslie Bachman - thanks for the question! This sink is actually a fake toy sink for the kids and isn't functional. We have had clients who have added a hot/cold water tap to the outside of their structure by plumbing
plumbing it properly into the home hot and cold water lines. You could then have either a sink or hose bib height wash station...great for washing dogs and more.

looking at the sole water source for the family. Water is channeled via pvc pipe from the roofs into the tanks where it is stored. There is a supply loop that is powered by an "on-demand" pump and a series of micron and UV filters back to the house (exactly like those used by a typical water well system)
The pressure is provided by the pump. The bathroom lavatories and air conditioning condensate were connected to a separate drain line that collects water used for gardening.
Rainwater catchment system designed to catch 2500 gallons of water off of 1" of rain. Family's sold water source.
Water Collection When living off-grid, a renewable water supply is essential. A private drilled well is common. Using water from a nearby lake or stream is another option. Once you identify your water source, the next step is

want to walk into it.. lol I'm imagining moving a desk? chair? rug? into the space. Having a dog... Having a glass of wine and stepping into the water instead of the 12 inch square piece of dry surface? Things regular people would do. Sorry
I like the simplicity of this one, and the water feature out front (though I would also want a better "path" right outside the door.)
Neat outside office and water, not feasible in Ohio though. Like how you interact with pond by stepping on stone to enter/exit office.

Galvanized metal water and food containers hang from cables on a ceiling beam. Since the chickens love to scratch around and kick up the pine shavings on the floor, Dalley raised their food containers to keep the space tidy. The double-wall water container uses vacuum pressure to keep the water level consistent

How do you keep it water tight with open siding?
I love the pathway to the entrance of the shed. The water element adds a special touch
For the backyard, incorporate the garage conversion to have a water feature, cooling pool like this.

Instead of allowing the rain to shed off the entire roof, like a curtain, the gutters catch the water so we can direct it to the corners of the building. There are copper rain chains which also provide a functional, decorative feature. Thanks for asking
floating? neat space to site on the water though. i like the huge overhanging eaves

insects that may be tagging along. The most thorough way to do this is by submerging the entire thing in a tub of water — if there are bugs living in the soil, they should appear in the water after a few minutes. If that happens, you may want to repot your plant and change the potting soil before bringing
pets and kids; you don’t need anything too harsh for this job. In fact, some gardeners have luck using a simple solution of pure Ivory liquid soap and water. Make sure you spray the tops and bottoms of all of the leaves where bugs like to hang out.

We collect water from the main house roof, as well as having chickens, my design for the chicken coop was not made for collecting water, this idea is great although my design is also neat will post later.
the larger roof provides shade and shelter from the rain, in addition to the water it collects.
