I love the trim and saw in one of your answers that it is 4.5 legs and 5.5 header. Do you know if it was installed with mitered corners? Also, are the edges of the trim pretty sharp (not eased)? Thank you!
I'm putting 11.5 inch reclaimed white oak in my house and these look identical. So that's my guess, white oak in natural.
Hello, This baseboard trim is from a 1 x 8 poplar and finishes out to 7 1/4" tall. Hope that helps!
These are flush 4 1/2" side and 5 1/2" head casings -- flush with the baseboard too (7/14"). They are from 1x poplar which is 3/4" thick. Hope that helps.
This is all flat casing with 5 1/2" head casing and 4 1/4" side casing. The head is typically biscuit jointed to the side casings, glued and screwed to help control any seasonal movement.

Hello. Would you share the paint color in the bath as well? You've achieved a very pretty flow of colors here! Thanks.
Hello Charlie. I must agree. I have been looking for a couple weeks. Trying to find plain flat stock 6x1 and 3 or 4x1 for my floor base and door trim without any scrolling
They are 1/2" x 4" stock Poplar boards. Any lumber supplier would have them.

5. Remove carpeting. Traditional wall-to-wall carpeting is notoriously difficult to get and keep clean. Whenever possible, go with hard flooring (wood, tile, linoleum) instead.Houzz guides to floor materials

Have you just used a standard 1x4 ripped down to 3" for the trim, or is what you've used thinner than a 1x4? Thanks! I'm looking for a simple way to trim out beadboard, windows and doors.
5. Wainscoting. Hallway wainscoting is a great decorative design element, but it also helps protect drywall from scrapes, bumps and marks. Traditionally, wainscoting was installed in transitional spaces like this, to protect active rooms from heavy traffic.
