I am sorry, I have no idea what the name of the slate is... I can tell you that these were the brown pieces in the stone that was delivered, and the "grey" pieces were all used for

where did you get the tile base board trim?

Doors are 3/4" aluminum and corners of walls are 1-1/2" aluminum.
You can buy baseboard Saltillo trim in what we call "bullnose" just like this from Rustico Tile and Stone in Texas. We offer wholesale affordable
We are in El Paso, Texas and this is a very typical tile found here in many of the tile stores. It was a random store that sells terra cotta (saltillo tile) from Mexico. I believe the name was Emser Tile and Stone.
this tile but we do carry it and are able to ship it anywhere! If you are looking for samples in order to see if they are appropriate for your home let us know! We typically recommend the Natural Gray Saltillo grout. Also, it is a great idea to have an experienced installer to install the floor!
