The floor is tongue-in-groove oak planks stained with my secret recipe - made by God or whoever your higher spirit is.
Definitely recommend taller wainscot to give impression of stretching room upwards, making it feel taller than it is. Chair rail height wainscot will make your great room feel squat.

stucco? Is it styrofoam or warm-n-dry waterproofing board? If either did you go with 1" or 2" thickness? We are also building in Edina and have 2" warm-n-dry on our foundation. We are looking for a clean way to finish over it below the siding and above the grade. Yours looks fantastic. Thx!
