floors are a headache to match your walls with. They also need alot of maitmence because theycan crack and stain. They are also very expensive thats why you rairly find them in homes but rather in large buildings. They are popular amongst large buildings but as for the daily home not so much

even have curved braces. Also, I notice immediately that the iron work seems to be very light and cheap compared to the substantial beams around it. Why not do something that fits a bit more, like heavier hammered steel. And nothing round or spindly looking. A heavy black spine stair would feel very open
