Hi, we are remodeling and I was wondering the width of this hallway. Do you think 3ft is wide enough for a hall that is 13ft long? It has a bathroom door half way down on the left and a bedroom door on the end of it. Any advice is appreciated ;)
This bank of cabinetry acts as a warm-toned paneled wall defining a corridor. The wall’s panels conceal door openings and access to other rooms. It’s a commanding organizing element and allows for a hidden passageway — behind the secret door — to become a reality.

alike shelter from the weather. This benefits those with mobility aids who need to put things aside to manipulate keys and doors. For even quicker access, keyless push-button entry systems eliminate the need to fuss with keys, and a door with a lever handle is easier to manipulate than a thumb latch

Yes, this ladder was custom-built from the existing joists. They were salvaged during the renovation and re-purposed here for the roof access ladder.

withdrawing the access to the house towards the center of the lot, allowing for wider perspectives at the rear of the lot and without limits to the environment. Aligned on the front façade are the garages, study, toilet and service rooms: laundry, pantry, one bedroom, one bathroom and the barbecue area
This geometry created a long path towards the entrance of the house, which was designed by combining vehicle and pedestrian access. The social areas are organized from the access hall around an inner yard that integrates natural light to the different environments. The kitchen, the dining room, the gallery
