These black-framed windows add a somberness to the space. The dark painting and candelabras don't hurt either. It's not creepy, but it is also not to be trifled with.

know what black paint they used?
Moore Black 2132-10 (which I have been told by my BM paint store is softer than just the regular Black paint that has no number attached to it).
hung on black walls. I love this combination with the white trim and glossy wood floors. There's nothing somber about it.
