Window Seat / Nook
I have a 20l x 12w living room with large bay window on front of house. I want to decorate room, but don't know what to put in here. Vaulted ceiling with beam down middle of room and no fireplace. I have a great room already. Any ideas? Color scheme is gold, rust, aqua, limish green
I would use this area with one big window , with maybe a chair and a half with a small table . But at Christmas that's where the tree goes!!

The homeowner has magnolia trees surrounding the home, and since the underside of magnolia leaves has a copper tone, Giorgi used that to tie the indoor-outdoor spaces together. "I wanted to drive home the neutral color palette and elegant dark floors by complementing it with lots of gold- and copper-colored
copper-colored ribbons." Tip: "Don't be afraid to splurge on high-quality ribbon," Giorgi says, "Ribbon is key for the holidays, and you can never have enough of it to use around the house to give something a special holiday treatment."

I sooo love this portion of the Christmas tree by Rebecca Robeson. Hey, that gold fish net like ribbon thingy behind
behind the bird abounds here in the Philippines. My mom also used that several times before during Christmas season. We call it as SINAMAY.

"A hanging Christmas cactus, a philodendron, asparagus ferns and bonsai trees line the front window" lovely!

Distinguishing traits. Thanksgiving cactus and Christmas cactus are both flat-leaf cacti native to the tropical forests of Brazil, but they're different in subtle ways. Thanksgiving cactus has pointed or claw-like stem ends, while those of the Christmas cactus are rounded.Thanksgiving cactus also begins
setting out buds in mid to late fall with flowers in white, fuchsia, pink, red and salmon. Most plants bloom profusely from about one month before Christmas until later in January or even into February.
