Where did the glass transom come from?
Love the interior glass transom -how install - with trim?
Hi, I am looking to do this exact type of install - where the trim around the transom is flush with the wall surrounding
surrounding it. How did you do it? Did you put the back trim on first (after painting it) as a stop and then put glass in and then enclose with the front trim? Thanks!!!!
the contractor, but you have the right idea. The glass transom was framed in the trim on site. It's actually set a little back from the door trim. Trim was painted after installation.
Do you have instructions for making the bottle bottom stained glass window? IT IS GORGEOUS!!!
Glad you like the glass globes, the prove to be a popular hit!

Love glass wall idea to separate
This reminds me of the Glass House show.......
A sliding patterned glass panel separates the master bedroom from the hallway.
A sliding patterned glass panel separates the master bedroom from the hallway. Finne drew the pattern freehand with a pen, then digitized it and had it transfered to a film for the glass. The pattern is thickest at the bottom and lightens up as it goes higher.

What is required for the glass to meet code for this application?
I would like to do this very thing but don't know what is specifically needed in the area of glass to keep this safe
hints.. The first glass floor I stepped on was at Tower Records in London in 1985, 27 years ago. Old technology very safe. It has to be properly designed and engineered, as well as built to code as this one is. You can go to your nearest Apple store and most likely they will have a Glass staircase. Call
do the job for you. It is too detailed, specialized and expensive. So it would be too time consuming for me and somewhat useless, so get yourself a Glass expert, it should be a percent of the job, that is if you want to do it and I'm sure you do, well. Otherwise you'll need a parachute. Thanks for asking

bright and elegant, this skinny slice of space has been made into a contemporary library. Natural light floods in through the enormous window, while the glass floor in the mezzanine allows more light to circulate and gives the space a floating feeling.
