Can you please share the custom stain used on the hardwoods? Thanks!
Hello. As I said above, it is a White Oak floor with a custom blend of stains. Our clients saw a color that they liked, and our painters matched it by making a custom blend. This process is pretty typical in most homes that we build and remodel. Thanks for asking
contractor's hardwood guy (who didn't match our original and new stair treads, so we're having to re-do it all) gave me samples of wood to take to a custom color store and figure out the stain myself. I thought that was the man's job and to do it on our actual wood floors not sample strips of wood, right
tint out. I like this rich brown shade you've achieved. I'm desperate to not only find someone that can do the right job the first time, but find a custom blend that works with both types of our wood and is close to this shade. If you can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!
