I like the light casting light
Wide sliding doors expand the bedroom space, allowing light to enter and adding plenty of intrigue to the expansive opposing walls. Here, the sliding door partially divides the bedroom (at left of image) from the hallway. When the doors are closed, the space allows for privacy and contemplation.

99.9% of people do not own these kind of homes...just track homes
Wondering if this type of lighting is effective with 10 ft ceilings? Very clean look!
Jane, I'm hoping you can help. I have a White cabinet with a light choc brushstroke and Dark floors. What color paint should I use for my walls Revere Pewter or Barren Plain or any other suggestons?
So is LIght Pewter the color in the hallway? Very pretty. What would you pick for a good neutral beige shade to use in another room off this hallway?
Gray is a neutral colour so it shouldn't limit your colour choices in surrounding areas. Try and use a lighter warm gray like Benjamin Moore's Light Pewter 1464 and you shouldn't have any problems co-ordinating other colours with it. Hope this helps!

concept of a breath of fresh air. Behind the white flowing curtains are built in beds each adorned with a nautical reading light and built-in hideaway niches. The space is light and airy with painted gray floors, all white walls, old rustic beams and headers, wood paneling, tongue and groove ceilings
We'd like to update our lighting. Any suggestions
We need to change out pot lights so that they are compatible with insulation so we had decided to rethink our lighting. Should we go with LED or halogen pot lights again or change it to something else? Thanks
Hi there! If you feel the need to use can lighting as shown above, we would recommend LED. These days they come in a wider range of "colors" and you're able to choose a much warmer, natural looking light than the LEDs of the past. Hope this helps!
