How do you paint a wood floor?
What is the wall paint color?
How are these floors holding up? Or how do painted floors hold up in general?
Painting a wood floor can be a less expensive alternative to refinishing your floors. What's great about painting wood flooring is that it works just as well for modern homes as it does for traditional homes. It's a pretty simple process
grade paint, and if you want real durability, I would suggest and oil-based enamel. You may want to prime the floors first. I suggest waiting 24 hours between all layers of paint, as well as keeping the room warm so that the paint will dry quicker and more evenly. 2. Using a roller, paint on a layer
really seal the edges. To get the with colour use titanium white pigment about 10 grams to a liter of finish then apply it with a paint pad. For more dramatic white simply paint on more coats. remove the tape then cover the entire floor with 2 coats of finish.

I used a bright wallpaper, from Scalamandre, and high gloss paint for this entrance hall. I wanted to create a bright, reflective look to make use of the natural daylight. Antique carpets worked really well with the client's art collection. I kept the stairs uncarpeted to give the hall a more formal

I want to change a little the look of my entrance hall. I love the look of this one and it's very similar to the way mine is. Just that it is blue instead of yellow, which I like & are planning to keep. My dilemma is what to do with the floor??? Right now I have carpet on

You can choose a hue from a nearby paint chip, pick the next color up or down on the same paint chip, or even have the same color mixed at the paint store with white added to make a lighter version.
