Why does this wall have so many picture photo's?
There is too many photo selections on this wall. It takes away from the beauty of this wall. Everything else is beautiful. The floors, walls, cabinetry etc.

Owner's collection of signed celebrity photos is warmed up by the reed covered ceiling detail. Smaller art multiples in matching frames, installed in a repetitive grid pattern, become an overall wall treatment.
Actually the satin black piano and bamboo stool are the only furniture in this small room. If you are looking at a similar design using a desk - I would suggest either keeping with black, or a blonde wood - so you have a contrast.

The entire room seems modern, yet traditional, simple yet beautiful and the creator has really used Japanese Zen design to the full here. I particularly love the grain and colour of the wood
