Is the number "2" considered a door handle? Where did it come from?
The number '2' is being used as a handle in this case. I'm sure you could find many resources for house numbers.
Many of you are aware of my affinity for barn doors, but making the room number the actual pull just knocked my socks off.
Sliding doors don't need knobs that turn. This number-two pull is pretty clever.

Are the handles brass and customized?
I keep coming across your work on Houzz and always stop to admire the sleek simplicity of your design. I am interested in the handles you have used for this design. Were these custom made? Thank you

try placing a spare bench for your dining table there instead. Since a bench mirrors the lines of a console, it will be hardly noticeable until you pull it out to use at your next big gathering.
