how did you get the metal roof to look rusted?
Is the corrugated Tin sealed? And what hardware did u install with? I am getting ready to put my barn roof inside on my barn loft ceiling
No, the reclaimed corrugated ceiling is not sealed. I believe it is attached with standard screws. We added a wood valance at the roof-wall junction to provide a space for the lighting, this also provides a place to terminate the ceiling panels.

valance at the roof-wall junction: a clever solution that provides space for LED strip lighting.

Generally used outside on roofs, corrugated tin comes inside to make a design statement in this mountain home. These panels are reclaimed

Interior and ExteriorNotice how the roof rafters appear continuous between interior and exterior here? By visually linking the interior roof construction with the exterior, the architect made the interior space not only feel more connected but appear larger too. Overhanging roof planes are a perfect opportunity

Is this a ridge skylight? How is it installed and can it be retro fitted to am existing tiled roof? Is it water tight? Thank you.
Yes to all. Roof type might mean extra price though. Local glazier should be able to help.
I like the idea of it being at the peak, also listed: Consider orientation. Choosing the best place on your roof to locate a skylight is a critical exercise. Here are the basics: ◦North. Of the four
Follow the lineA strip of skylights forming a narrow glass roof follows the long line of this hallway. It looks wonderful, and helps illuminate this enclosed space with natural light.
Hit a high pointThis high, pitched roof draws the eye upwards, aided by vertical panelling that emphasises the height. The skylight is glazed with bold, black frames that link with the doors
