It this a trend right now or a personal preference?
Difficult to find louver doors with increased louver size.
suitable for a vaulted ceiling bedroom? Love the monochromatic with the wonderful up lighting. I won't have the up lighting and am concerned the warmth might be lost. Your guidance would be most appreciated.
Thank you!
There are a lot of variations and colors, depending on where it is quarried. You will also find variations in thicknesses and edges, so you want to have a very experienced stone layer to set the flooring.
Thank you again. You are awesome to share and reply.

There is a chance these are Supa Doors, which have as a standard beefy 2-1/4" louver blade. With the overlap, this leaves you with a nice solid looking 1-9/16" reveal. Regardless, if I were in your shoes, look for at least a 2" plus wide blades to get this look. Terri is spot on, we and probably
Which is the color of the bookshelves? It adds lighting to the room.
Could build a library room and then build our own "nook" next to a window and frame it in with closets.
The shelves and the cozy window seat to read and look outside!
I'd LOVE a nook! Slightly bigger than this one though, to fit the whole family ;P
hideaway by a window and at the end of a hall with books.
tea and a book are all you need for a long day indoors.
Close off one end of a room with a drape. There's no need to add a physical wall to create a separate space. A drape works just as well, and an added bonus is the warm cozy feel that all the fabric creates when it is pulled closed. Place a chair
Harrell Remodeling, what is the ceiling mechanism on which the door slides? Is it recessed in the ceiling?

A sliding panel can create division and privacy when needed, and return the space to its open plan the rest of the time. We can see two examples here: a sliding screen with both wood and decorative glass elements to block the stairs, and a pocket door for the room beyond.

A narrow corridor could become a library with the addition of floor to ceiling bookshelves. With neutral paper covers to hide the mismatched backs of books, one can get a uniform, elegant look with

TONS for a great idea.
Im going to spray paint my a striking color and I even noticed that I can buy shelves, baskets and all sorts of hooks to make it perfect for my small laundry room.
You can find this at a retail fixture store. We
inspired me to go to my local fixture shop here in phoenix and install this in my laundry room. With two girls and a wife, my laundry room is getting cluttered from the back packs and hand bags. We don't use coats here in Phoenix, but it will free up some shelf space and make it easier for my wife to quickly

we are remodeling and I was wondering the width of this hallway. Do you think 3ft is wide enough for a hall that is 13ft long? It has a bathroom door half way down on the left and a bedroom door on the end of it. Any advice is appreciated ;)
trying to move furniture down a hall that narrow. If possible, tear down hallway walls where they border living areas - if the hallway begins or ends behind a living room, bkfst rm, etc... then tear out that partof the wall to make the actual hall passage shorter - but you'll still have to move bedroom
furniture to the end of the hall - also, halls are total wastes of square footage, so tearing down any portion of a wall, even if you have to leave a column and/or header, means not only is the hallway effectively wider, but the adjacent room just gained 3 ft of space! Now you can have a console or hutch
would like to know how wide the halls would need to be for this. I can't tell from the photo, but it looks like it is more than 4 feet (including bookcase depth).

books to fill an entire library. A hallway is a great location for a smaller library. And, since books don't take up much room (front to back), it can be easy to fit one in.
Tip: The shelves don't always have built-in. If you're going to incorporate bookshelves into your hallway, just make sure they
