Just curious...what is on the other side of this door? I'm guessing its a bathroom?
What is the width of the side casing? 3"? 3 1/2"?
This is one side of a his and her walk-in closet. . . her side.
Yes, the door and other wood trim in this image are all Benjamin Moore's Linen White with a Satin Impervo finish.
Side casing is 4 1/2" and the head is 5 1/2" not including the custom crown and the depth is 3/4 of an inch deep.

the side casing and flush using biscuit joints, blind screws and glue to keep the joint stable. The crown moulding is a custom detail for this house.

Here you go. Pillars defining each room opening. This is sort of what I picture on a small scale coming into my home. I love the built in bookcases on one side. Might consider this!
