Art work sets the tone for your foyer. While it may only be seen in passing most of the year as you rush through your home, it's likelier to be lingered over more as hellos and goodbyes are exchanged. You might consider rotating pieces in and out of your foyer — even collecting holiday-themed art work

The wainscot was built on site by the carpenter's working on the home. The newel posts were crafted to mimic the wainscot around them.
The sconces were original to the house and worked with the new fixtures. The sconces were cleaned up and received new shades. Objet Insolite has similar fixtures. Check out their website at www.objetinsolite.com.
