where you need a finish with low fumes/quicker installation time. But keep in mind, the water based polyurethane may need to be re-applied more often then oil based. In both cases its important to have a quality installer who can tell you which brands he recommends, and the benefits of each. Thank

bright for you, but I think the emerald looks very fresh against the aqua and yellow. Not sure how you would apply it though.
What do you think of Pantone's decision? And do you think it hit the mark with last year's Tangerine Tango pick? Perhaps you prefer one of the major paint company's picks for 2013. Glidden is going with a dark and exotic hue, Indigo Night. Benjamin Moore's choice is a warm pastel, Lemon Sorbet. Sherwi

ow do you paint a wood floor?
What kind of hardware are you using the hang the sheer panels?
make sure you sand the floors down with either a floor sander or a hand sander. Remove the excess dust with a wet mop, and allow the floors to dry. It's best to use an exterior grade paint, and if you want real durability, I would suggest and oil-based enamel. You may want to prime the floors first
thin, and you will be waiting forever. 3. Wait another 24 hrs and apply a second coat of the floor color. 4. If the color looks filled enough, wait for it to dry and then paint over with an oil-based polyurethane clear coat. Oil paint can be a real pain, but with all of the beatings that your floor

Choose rollers with a long nap and press hard as you roll to push paint into tiny holes, or use a sprayer for the most even results. You'll probably want a brush to take care of mortar lines and cut in around doorways or windows
brush that you can manipulate around bumps and crags. Prime it right. Use a primer that's designed for masonry and apply it according to the manufacturer's instructions. (You'll almost always need more than one coat.) Let it dry completely between coats.

are all you need to revive your floor. If your floor really needs more than that, consider a low-cost alternative to refinishing: Apply a fresh topcoat of nonyellowing polyurethane, found in the flooring section of a home improvement store. Be sure to very lightly sand the floors with a pole sander
here. You are just looking to knock down the gloss so that the new coat of poly will stick. I've done this myself with 60-year-old hardwoods and couldn't believe how great the result was.

not give you the same color effect. As always, do samples and look at those in relationship to the rest of the palette in you room, and your specific lighting. On this project the painter customized everything, therefore an exact formula is not available.
After applying a generous build with multiple coats, while also sanding smooth between them, then build multiple coats of clear gloss of your choice. The trick is to find a gloss that does not "amber" over time. All-told, I beleive there were 9 coats of paint and clear to achieve the final glossy-white
