the deck. It's a perfect kitchen garden.
AFTER: The new garden was built completely from scratch; most of the work was done in spring and summer 2011. Joseph and Robin added 185 square feet of planting space to the shed, plus about 35 square feet for the shade garden off the back of the deck.More:Inspiring

Vegetable Garden
This vegetable and herb garden is set out in a formal style. The edible landscape is arranged in such a way as to add symetry to the landscape, provide lots of color and then food for the table.

Potager Garden
A traditional garden in the French style that contains fruits, berries, herbs, cutting, and vegetable garden.
the approximate size of the fountain and circle garden around it?
Is the garden gate and fence custom made/designed?
Stunning! I applaud the architect, the homeowner and the maintenance crew. Aesthetic vegetable gardening - why not?
Willie's front garden, this should look perfect
Enjoy fresh herbs: Many herbs are in their prime now and are the perfect garden to table crop for immediate use in salads, as garnishes or to flavor grilled meats. Fresh herbs are also terrific when combined with other flavoring agents such as sugar, salt and fat.
advantage of this break in between seasons to assess your garden. What worked or didn't work in your garden this year? Is your perennial bed getting too shady? Do your trees need to be pruned and limbed up to allow more light? How did your lawn fare over the summer? Is your irrigation system functioning properly

the herbs are incorporated into the garden as a design element
great for the back yard - herbs
rocks and herbs near front and or in back near tree to add herbs / shubs. like on the left of my cement patio.
Step walkway ( down or up) from subterranian bedroom, bath, laundry & wine celler to backyard garden area.
Anywhere there's a little extra soil. Herbs like thyme can grow in the tightest of spaces, such as between rocks in a hardscape.

Pretty. The pairs and trios of plants in the food garden give it extra decorative appeal.
