Probably not realistic but it would be a fun way to tuck work-out equipment into basement. The raised floor could double as a stage for the boys?
Nice way to separate the equipment!
If carpet family room, do we tile/wood back section?

Planning 45'W x 35'D 21'H indoor basketball court attached to my two story home and want to prepare goal post wall and anchors to reduce noise levels.
indoor, half court, was built with 2X6 wall studs, filled with F.G. insulation, and 1/2" MDO plywood glued and screwed the all the wall studs. The interior finish is 1/2" AZEK panels, beveled edge at 1/4" and space 1/4" apart from the adjoining panel. The AZEK was primed, then painted with two coats
regulations for height along with a breakaway hoop. If you review this photograph, additional space was designed behind the main backboard to allow for "lay-ups", and movement behind the basketball rim. All glazing in all the photographs pictured was installed with hurricane glass, to provide addition protection

Good look for work out room. Want mirror that starts from the floor/baseboard like this on one wall. Like ballet bar on 1-2 walls. Need wiring for ceiling fan and for good lighting.
mirror with bar can turn ours long ways
could we put a smaller, less expensive ballet/dance studio in basement? Girls love to dance and perform, sing, etc...
Our new home will have a gym/rec space and we would love to have it double as a ballet studio for myself and my daughter. This is awesome! ours would probably have a similar ceiling line as it may
