“For a craft table top, I purchased heavy 3/4" MDF from the big orange box and had it cut to 50 x 60. (The manufacturer states the max load is 110 pounds.)
I put a 45 pound 29" x 42" ottoman on top of it for several weeks while I re-upholstered it. They handled the load just fine. Just make sure”

“Craft Room- My oldest daughter graduates from law school in May and I found it the perfect opportunity to take her room and put it to good use. My husband built the desk from a closet cubby and MDF. We added a pegboard for storage on the back wall. I found the perfect chair on Amazon.”
