The other side of the room is home to the desk. “She is a graphic designer, and she needs to have a lot of things right at hand,” says Peltier. “We installed a horizontal row of wall-mounted file folders. She can easily reach everything, and it keeps the narrow desktop clean.” An acrylic office chair

Hello! LOVE the room! Ca you please tell me where you got the shelving unit behind the desk? It is a nice alternative to having another table-it saves a lot of space! Thanks!! Tina
Can you please tell me about them? Also interested to know the size of the room if you have that information. So many great ideas in this space! I am inspired!
office. The LACK shelf you've used as an auxiliary work surface...is it the 74 inch version? I purchased the Torsby dining room table and matching sideboard (Ikea) and then saw your office. It's great! So I sent my husband to Ikea on a business trip and he purchased the LACK shelf but it is longer
longer than desk. My room is similar in shape, it is a bit smaller and I have a twin bed to the right of the desk. Will it look odd? How far away from the wall should it be to look 'right'? Amazing Computer Desk/Floating Shelf, How Wide?
I have a similar wall structure in my place, a space that can be neglected or smartly used, I would love to make a space for just a monitor, keyboard and mouse ,or a laptop.. Mrs. Silvia, Can I know what is the width of the shelf you have the computer on
What is the material on the wall behind the floating shelf? Stone, slate? What type of wood are the shelves?
Sorry for the late reply, I haven't had time to follow my Houzz. These days you really only need about 22" for a shelf. If you have a laptop, it may even be 18". However, if you plan to surf and write at the same time, you may have to go to 24" deep.

Hi! The desk is a dining room table
Hi -- I am not sure as it was the one piece that was in the room when I started that we left (and the curtains). I have seen ones like those at Bed Bath and Beyond though so that would be a good place to start.
