HI THERE! IT IS FROM JONATHAN ADLER IN LA.
Anywhere from 1/4"- 1/2" works depending on type of use.
The filing cabinet is from PotteryWorld in Rocklin, Ca.
The map is from Ballard Design.
It originally came from Eddie Bauer Home Store, which is now closed. The closest version I know of is Ballards: http://www.ballarddesigns.com/petite
I've got similar furniture and colour scheme in my own office. Great idea to work with.

has 6 indirect LED ceiling lights and is approx 10 x 15. Want it to be bright and happy but conducive to work environment as well. Told to stay away from white but want doors and trim to be glossy white!
The stools came from icon group at the Boston Design Center, but I have found them at many retail outlets too.

This color is from Ben Moore Affinity color AF-20 which is a warm white (tends to have yellow in the background) and would certainly be warm & white for a dark space.
