Love this mixed use room! Might be able to be a nice office/guest room or tv room.

TVCoverUps. Framed art(including your own) or mirror adds to the room's decor with the hidden TV and Entertainment Consoles beneath. See how EASY it really is : ...
That was painted by my client. It hides the tv and entertainment system which are recessed in the wall.
The painting over the fireplace moves up ward to reveal the tv.
Painting pulls up and tv underneath
Awesome Art piece idea for hiding the TV & entertainment system which is recessed behind the wall
Painting over fireplace hides the TV and reflects the outside environment
painting on counterweights hides TV, glass sliding door out wall.
Would you believe there is a tv behind that painting

The cut out for the TV
this is a basic design I like for TV above fireplace
could do this to ours and recess wall for tv
More of a contemporary look, you could then mount the tv over the fireplace and leave the built in cabinet on the left just for storage
We need a niche for the TV but I would prefer it to be in stone and not
