I like the book shelves and simplicity. This room can easily be converted to a bedroom. I also like that while sitting I can see the window and the door.

Thanks so very much for your prompt answer! We are constructing a unit made from drywall on a 16' wall (12 doors). We'd like to be able to occasionally serve on the unit (extended lower cabinetry). We're leaning toward a quartz or laminate top. Hence, my question
