The desk is awesome. Who makes it? Ceiling light fixture? Any other helpful information would be appreciated.
Container Store along with a waste basket. The top has a cutout area so that I can use a keyboard at an ergonomic height. The light is from Restoration Hardware. By it's design, it can light 2 different work areas and doesn't take up floor space.

What make of track lighting is used here? Most recessed track lighting I find is wider than drywall and would have to be installed between joists not cross.

It is quite difficult to give the colour of the timber a specific name, but it is of a medium oak colour, i.e. not too light or dark, a sort of beige with clusters of pin knots, which are sometimes known as 'cat's paw' markings.
